Process

From an outside perspective to a website that fits

The first preview begins with what a potential customer can already discover about the business online. Feedback then turns that outside perspective into a website that reflects the brand from the inside.

How we work

From the first research to the finished website, and what comes after.

How the website takes shape

Beispiel: aus der Recherche über einen Betrieb entsteht eine erste Website-Vorschau

Free preview

From what is publicly available about the business, we build a working first version within one to two days. This preview costs nothing.

We look at the offer, reviews, images, competitors and the ways customers find the business today. That way the business sees the direction before it commits to anything.

Beispiel: Feedback verändert den Entwurf einer Website

Commitment, feedback and development

If the direction feels right, the business commissions the website. That is the point of commitment. Payment is due here, and the project becomes paid work.

Feedback then adds what cannot be seen from the outside: values, priorities, customers and goals. We revise design, structure and copy and develop the website fully for desktop, mobile and search engines.

Beispiel: eine fertige Website wird mit ihrer Domain verbunden und geht online

Launch

After approval we connect the domain, set up hosting and the technical side, and take the website live.

This normally happens within two weeks of receiving the first feedback and the required content.

The preview is our risk. The decision stays with the business.

Once the website is live

Launch is not the end of the work. Once real visitors arrive, there is real data to work with for the first time.

Beispiel: eine Website wird über Monate technisch betreut

The technical side, month by month

After launch we keep the website online, apply security and software updates and make later changes. The business does not have to look after the technical side itself.

When GMAX manages this foundation continuously, changes, tracking and updates can be made without waiting for access or setup each time. That is the purpose of the monthly care plan.

Beispiel: Zugriff über Einladungen und Rollen statt Passwörter

Access and setup

Some work needs access to existing accounts, such as the Google Business Profile, Search Console, analytics, advertising accounts or domain management.

We guide the business through the setup step by step. Access runs through each platform's own invitations and roles, not through shared passwords.

Beispiel: Besucherquellen und Verhalten nach der Veröffentlichung

Real data after launch

We set up the right tracking. The website then shows where visitors come from, which pages they look at and which steps they take.

Before launch there are only assumptions. After it there is behaviour that can be analysed.

Beispiel: aus Betrieb, Zielen, Budget und Daten ergibt sich der passende Kanal

Which channels make sense

We do not prescribe the same package to every business. First we understand the business, its customers, its goals and its budget. Then we add the data from the website.

From that it becomes clear which route makes sense first: search engine optimisation, advertising on Google or Meta, social media content, email or a combination. Some businesses use several channels at once, others start with one. Then we measure and improve.

How the website takes shape

  1. STEP 01

    Research and preview

We study the public information already available about the business. That includes its offer, reviews, images, visual identity, competitors and the way customers currently find it. From that research, we create a working first version within one or two days. It gives the first conversation something real to improve.

  2. STEP 02

    Feedback and development

The preview reveals what already fits and what still needs to change. Feedback then gives us the inside knowledge that public research cannot provide, including the business priorities, customers and goals. That feedback shapes the design, structure and wording while the website is fully developed for desktop, mobile and search engines.

  3. STEP 03

    Launch

Once the final version is approved, the website is connected to its domain and launched. This normally happens within two weeks after the first feedback and required materials are received. Without monthly maintenance, we help set up the chosen domain and hosting. With maintenance, GMAX manages the technical side after launch.

How the website comes together

01

Research and preview

It starts with the business: what it offers, who its customers are, what makes it valuable, what visitors need to understand and which action the website should drive. Within one to two days that research becomes a first working preview. It shows what GMAX can do before any commitment is made.

The preview is free.
The website is a paid project.

The preview takes the risk out of the decision. If the direction is right, the business commissions the project and pays for it. Feedback and development start from there.

02

Feedback and development

Once the project is commissioned, the first direction becomes the real website. Feedback supplies what cannot be seen from outside: values, priorities, customers and goals. From that we refine design, structure and wording, develop the pages for desktop, tablet and phone, and prepare everything for launch.

03

Launch

The finished website is connected to its domain, set up technically, checked once more and published. This usually happens within two weeks of receiving feedback and content. With monthly care GMAX handles domain, hosting, analytics and maintenance, so the launch does not depend on technical steps the business has to solve alone. Without it we help with the setup.

After launch, the measuring starts

Once the website is live, analytics provide evidence: where visitors come from, which channels bring visits, which pages get attention and which paths lead to inquiries. From that we work out what makes sense next.

Build. Launch. Measure. Diagnose. Choose a channel. Improve.

Not every business needs the same channel

We do not sell every business the same services. First we establish what is already there. Then what is missing.

When visitors already arrive

A business with many strong Google reviews, good visibility in Google Maps and steady local demand already has a channel that brings visitors. We do not automatically recommend search engine optimisation to it just because we offer it.

When there is no source yet

A business with a new website, little visibility and no reliable source of visitors needs a channel that brings visitors sooner. Then we check which one fits: search engine optimisation, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media, email or a combination.

The recommendation follows the business, not a fixed package.

Four channels, when they fit

Search engine optimisation

We recommend search engine optimisation when customers demonstrably search for the service and the business is not yet found there. First we check the current position, the Google presence, search demand, competition and the structure of the website, plus Search Console and analytics where they exist. If the channel is worth it, we lay the technical foundation, create targeted pages for services, locations and questions, and measure progress. Scope and price are set once the search potential has been checked.

Advertising

We recommend advertising when a business needs visitors quickly and has a clear offer. The customer pays the advertising budget directly to Google, Meta or TikTok. GMAX creates, launches, manages and measures the campaign.

The campaign begins with a measurement period of 7 to 14 days. GMAX's management fee becomes due only after the campaign produces the agreed conversion and that conversion has generated attributable revenue. The qualifying conversion and the method used to attribute the revenue are agreed in writing before launch.

Social media content

We recommend social media content when a business's customers spend time there and the business has something worth showing. We derive the direction from the business and its customers: what convinces, what people ask, what can be shown. Then we settle the frequency and whether the business supplies material or needs a full production. Every piece of content leads to the website on a clear path.

Email marketing

We recommend email marketing when a business already has inquiries, bookings or customers where following up pays off. We work out where in the customer journey a message helps: after an inquiry, after an appointment or for past customers. Then we set up the sending platform, the consents and the sequences, and settle the frequency.

Once the website is live

A website needs relevant traffic before it can create business value. GMAX offers four ways to help more of the right people reach it.

SEO

Every GMAX website includes a technical SEO foundation. Each page receives a clear purpose, a descriptive title, a readable URL, a logical heading structure and the metadata search engines need. Internal links and a sitemap help Google discover the website and understand the purpose of each page.

Intensive SEO goes further. We research how potential customers search, then create dedicated pages and content for valuable services, locations and questions. The scope and price are confirmed after the search opportunity has been reviewed.

Advertising

The client pays the advertising budget directly to Google, Meta or TikTok. GMAX creates, launches, manages and tracks the campaign.

GMAX creates content for Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. The scope depends on how often it is published and whether the business supplies the material or needs full production. The goal is more visibility among the right people and a clear path from the content to the website.

Email marketing

Email marketing can follow up after an enquiry, reconnect with previous customers and bring people back to a relevant service or offer. The scope depends on the mailing platform, the available customer consent and how often campaigns are sent.

Questions about the process

The most common questions about how we work.

How long does a website take?

The first preview normally takes one or two days. After the first feedback and required materials are received, launch usually follows within two weeks.

What does GMAX need before starting?

The preview can begin with the public information already available. During development, we need the business goals, service information, preferred images and honest feedback on the first direction.

What happens if the first design is not right?

That is what the feedback stage is for. We identify what feels wrong, understand the preference behind it and use that information to shape the next version.

The preview is free and without obligation. If the direction is not right, no commitment is made. If it is, the project is commissioned and paid for. In the feedback phase we then work out what does not fit yet, understand the preference behind it and use that for the next version.

How is the design direction chosen?

We study the business, its intended customers and strong websites within the same industry. The common patterns guide usability, while the brand and goals determine the final identity.

How does the website get found on Google?

Clear structure, descriptive titles, readable web addresses and a sitemap help Google understand the website. More intensive SEO can create additional entry points for important services, locations and questions.

What happens after the website goes live?

Monthly maintenance is optional. Without it, the client manages the domain, hosting, security and analytics separately. With it, GMAX manages the technical side, monitors the website and provides up to five hours for future changes each month.
